Jacuzzi Family Vineyards (Sonoma), Barbera 2007: ★★★★ (8/24/09)

The first thing we noticed about the Jacuzzi Barbera is the color. A beautiful ruby red to make you feel like you are drinking something worthy of possession. Subtle raspberry and cherry flavors that give balance to a wine that is medium-bodied and not too dense for a summer afternoon. Refreshing and vibrant with a hint of tobacco and leaf to add a cool backdrop to the fruit. This wine goes very well with pork or a light meat with a tangy tomato sauce. Try it for yourself, but we warn you: it could be addictive. Rating: 4-★. Retail: about 2,500 yen. –Lloyd & Company
